About
De Toegift is a Dutch indie band that has seen a growth spurt in the last couple of months. Being a part of this club, I saw the band go from “hobbyists with a passion” to “actual musicians” in a short time. Things like graphic design, video clips, and promotion are all done in-house. My role is to create marketing content that we can then send out to our partners. Important to note is that De Toegift is a team effort; everyone is involved in creative choices and the creation of everything we put out.
For every single we release, I create these animations out of the album art that Maxim designs.
I also got the opportunity to direct a video. I wanted to create a video with a bit more warmth than its predecessors. It resulted in a chaotic but fun shoot through the neighborhood that I grew up in.
