About

Meet Alaraph: a mythical prehistoric man with a mating instinct. He is an epic figure on display in a museum of animals. After a thousand years, the mating season has finally arrived for him. Alaraph turns out to be super romantic and conflicts with the volatility of our modern age when he has to use Tinder and dating apps. He turns out to be unable to adapt and loses himself in love for one girl.

Since every “phone screen shot” was shot with just a white canvas (and only an estimation of where the actors needed to place their thumbs), every one of these frames needed to be tracked and filled with convincing phone content, without using too much trademarked content like Facebook and Tinder.

My role within the team was primarily creating all the content for this universe’s Tinder and Facebook, alongside animation corresponding to the actor’s movements. This included zoom-ins that filled the entire screen.
